The core committee assumes responsibility for coordinating the day-to-day work of the CCAN. Core committee members engage in modified consensus decision-making on:
- Adding new members,
- Approving statements and public communications in the name of the Network, and
- Signing on to statements in the name of the Network, including requests for feedback made by signatories of the Call
To form the core committee, the co-chairs request self-nominations from the entire CCAN membership.
