The core committee assumes responsibility for coordinating the day-to-day work of the CCAN. Core committee members engage in modified consensus decision-making on: 

  1. Adding new members,
  2. Approving statements and public communications in the name of the Network, and
  3. Signing on to statements in the name of the Network, including requests for feedback made by signatories of the Call

To form the core committee, the co-chairs request self-nominations from the entire CCAN membership.
