The Core Committee assumes responsibility for coordinating the day-to-day work of the CCAN. Core Committee members engage in modified consensus decision-making on:
- Adding new members,
- Approving statements and public communications in the name of the Network, and
- Signing on to statements in the name of the Network, including requests for feedback made by signatories of the Call
To form the Core Committee, the Co-Chairs request self-nominations from the entire CCAN membership.
